It’s a new year and if you are anything like everyone else you are spending the beginning of the year planning out goals, making a resolution and thinking about your health, finances and life changes. Starting next week (You still have plenty of time to register), we have classes that can help you kick-start your new year’s goals, plans, and resolutions off on the right foot, from basic first aid classes to understanding debt and navigating new life changes, here are seven classes to get you started!
Basic First Aid
Training in basic first aid techniques will be administered by Nashville Save a Life professionals. Training materials and certification cards included.
CPR for Adults
Learn basic CPR and how to use an AED on adults in emergency situations. Students will receive hands-on, up-to-date training and certification in class. Includes materials and certification card. This class is conducted by Nashville Save a Life.
Buyer’s Path to Purchase a Home
With the real estate market changing so much over the past 5 years, this course will help you learn an updated step-by-step procedure for purchasing a home. Learn everything you need to know to buy a home from time of contract to the day you close and move in. Learn why you need a realtor and the advantages to buying a home instead of renting.
How to Maximize Your Time
This presentation focuses on being more productive and efficient during the course of the workday. Students will learn how to manage their time so that getting more done feels virtually effortless. Instruction will cover a tried and true system for managing your time. Use it and you’ll end each day feeling relaxed and start the following one with a sense of renewed focus, knowing you crossed everything off your list yesterday, and can do it again today!
Navigating Life Transitions
This four-week interactive coaching session will help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be in life. Discover the correlation between who you are on the inside in relation to your life’s purpose. Get inspired about new possibilities and what you want to achieve with a four-step action plan.
This class will help consumers become aware of their rights in regards to debt collection. Students will leave the class with the confidence to deal with debt collectors in the future.
Students will learn basic information regarding Medicare including eligibility, contact information, the four parts of Medicare, changes for 2018, patient’s cost share, understanding the summary notice, common terminology and next steps. Anyone interested in knowing more about Medicare will benefit from this class!
